Miracle! Brother Recovering Safely in New Nursing Home

By Pamela Rae Schuffert presenting investigative journalism from a Biblical Christian perspective-

Thank you all for your prayers and your support! Today, John was finally discharged from the hospital and taken to his new nursing home at last. He now has his own private room. I have briefed the nursing home staff about his previous nightmare in the former nursing home, and  how I expect this form of neglect to never be repeated again in this nursing home.

The wonderful hospital that provided stellar care for John is called PARK RIDGE in Fletcher, NC. It is a fully Christian 7th Day Adventist operated hospital, and Jesus Christ is always welcome in every aspect of their operations.

The staff was wonderful, and had it not been for the quick actions of Dr. Stover who ordered x-rays and MRI's for John, and then proceeded with life-saving emergency surgery, John would have died by Sunday from sepsis.

When he was admitted on Thursday night in the emergency room, his white blood cell count was 22.9. He was incoherent, his eyes rolling and unable to understand anything, as they desperately searched for veins to insert IV needles and antibiotic drips into him. And from the time he was admitted last Thursday night, the staff worked 24/7 to save his life.

Both Dr. Stover and Dr. Kim admitted that John's injuries were due to gross neglect and malpractice in his former nursing home, and recommended he be placed in another facility.

Thank God, PARK RIDGE helped to locate an excellent one for John, and now he is resting comfortably in his new bed and room tonight. Halleluia! Praise be unto God Almighty through Jesus Christ His Son!

All of this has been hard on both of us, of course. For me, it has been hard due to the terrible pain and partial paralysis and numbness I have been battling in my left arm and shoulder and neck...and yet trying to still be there for my brother as well.

But thanks be unto God, who always gives us the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. John is alive and recovering! But he still has a long way to go. Your prayers and support through this difficult time is so appreciated by both of us. We are both weary from this ordeal, but thankful to God and to ALL OF YOU who helped to make this very real miracle possible.
